2011 Event Directors
Karina Mamora is the Event Director for the 2011 Easter Passion Play. After graduating from Andrews University with a degree in English, Karina then entered the Masters of Teaching English as a Second Language program. She has served as a Student Missionary to Ukraine in 2005, a Student Chaplain for Outreach from 2009-2010, and was the Last Supper Scene Director in 2009 and 2010. Karina has also served as the Drama Director for LIFE Ministry from 2008-2010.
Karina is a dynamic leader with an eye for precision and vivid detail. She has a great passion for ministry and is looking forward to serving as Event Director this year.
Jessie A. Lopez is the Assistant Event Director for the 2011 Easter Passion Play. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish Studies from Andrews University in 2009 and is currently working on her Masters of Divinity and Masters of Social Work degrees from Andrews University: Theological Seminary.
From New York City, Jessie’s passion for mission and service is shown in her dynamic and cheerful spirit. She enjoys playing sports (especially volleyball and basketball) and spending time with friends. Jessie has also worked with the Easter Passion Play team in the past and served as the Crucifixion Scene Director in 2009 and Assistant Drama Director in 2010. She served as the Outreach Student Chaplain from 2008-2010 for Andrews University.
Jessie is looking forward to another year of blessings in bringing Christ’s love to others.
Rebecca Valenzuela is the Drama Director for the 2011 Easter Passion Play. She is currently a Senior Elementary Education major and has been involved in Passion Play for three years. She has enjoyed spreading God’s love as a student missionary and through the various ministries she has been a part of.
Rebecca is looking forward to experiencing this event once again and hopes that portraying Christ’s sacrifice will allow people to fall in love with Him.
Keren Toms is the Andrews University Staff Advisor for the 2011 Easter Passion Play. Keren currently is serving as the Chaplain for Outreach for Andrews University. She oversees all of the outreach initiatives organized by Campus Ministries, including Easter Passion Play. She holds a degree in Spanish Studies from Andrews University and is also working her way through a Masters in Youth Ministry. She firmly believes that missions and service are the most important things in life.

Dan Agnetta is the Fundraising Director for the 2011 Easter Passion Play. Dan is curently serving as the Director for Human Resources at Andrews University. For many years, Dan has been part of our cast as a Pharisee. In 2007 Dan began helping us raise funds and continues this important role this year.
Pastor Ron Whitehead is the Executive Producer of the Easter Passion Play. Ron has served as a local pastor, conference youth, and church ministries director. He also served the NAD as associate youth director and led four International Pathfinder (a coed-boy scout/girl scout club) Camporees representing over 100,000 people.
He currently serves Kingdom-building efforts in the following ways: Assistant to the President of Andrews University for Spiritual Life, Executive Director for the Center for Youth Evangelism, Assistant Professor for Youth Ministry, and Lake Union Conference Youth Ministries Director.
